Let’s talk about fabric. Fabric is a critical factor in determining the ultimate aesthetic of the garment. The Amador Top is best suited to be made with light to medium-weight knit fabric with excellent recovery. Athletic knit, double-brushed poly, ITY, and cotton Lycra are great choices. Drapey knit fabric is not ideal because it tends to drag the front down.

As with other Itch to Stitch patterns, shortening/lengthening provisions are available to adjust the length of the garment to suit your height and proportion. For the Amador, you can shorten or lengthen above or/and below the underbust/waist seam.
